Anything missing?

The picture is not a very good one, but can you spot any difference between the windows in your house and these?
The blinds, that we call persianas, do not exist anywhere but in Spain, or at least not in England.
They like to take advantage of the light. This way, they normally wake up at around 6 am and go to bed earlier than us, around 10 pm. What is really surprising is that in June the sunrise is at 4.30 am, and they don't need anything to stop the light coming in!! They normally have sutters and blinds like the ones we have at school!

  1. These are the small differences that people don't realize until they go to England, and the sun comes into their room at about 5 o'clock in the morning, waking them up. I've seen people hang blankets, or even jackets in front of their windows to block out the light and get a good night's sleep.
There's an old english proverb that goes; "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise"
